Frequently Asked Questions > PS/2 to USB converter for 105-key layout

Can you tell me if this converter will work with a Cherry G80-3000 with GB/UK layout? Specifically, does it recognise the "\" key (scancode 0x56) located between the "L-Shift" and "Z" keys? The no-name keyboard (+ mouse) converter that I am currently using only appears to recognise scancodes present on US layouts. Thanks.

Another point of info. I found out by using a program called PassMark Keyboard Test that when I hooked up my Spanish model M keyboard (82G2384)

The keycode for the key to the right of the left shift key does output Windows key code 226 (0xe2), BIOS key code 85, (0x56)
